Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has expressed interest in increasing security and intelligence cooperation with Israel, as he meets Israeli President Rueven Rivlin in Jerusalem. Kenyatta who is on a tour of Israel met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in Jerusalem on Tuesday and is scheduled to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Kenya president opined that Kenya, like Israel, is faced by numerous security challenges which require attention and resources to confront. He further stated his wish that the cooperation on security matters and sharing of intelligence between the two states is heightened to meet the new and increased threats.
