Nigeria and Kenya have come together to cooperate on two major fronts; improving trade and tackling terrorism. Nigeria’s president Buhari just completed a 3-day visit to Kenya and a wide range of agreements was signed between both countries. It would help to see more African countries commit to opening up their borders between and among states. Nigeria and Kenya for instance have for a long time introduced visa on arrival for citizens of both countries. This has contributed immensely to the increase in trade not just between both governments but amongst the citizens.
