Zimbabwe’s search for peace may be in sight. The two feuding political parties have signed a historic power sharing deal after months of talks with the South African president who was the chief mediator for the talks. MDC’s Tsvangarai said he signed the deal because he felt it was the only way that the country was to have peace again. President Mugabe welcomed the deal, saying, the two parties had been walking the same path, but didn’t realise they wanted the same outcome. Observers are keen to find out if the deal will work.
