It wasn't all bad news in Monrovia on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. While residents in West Point were battling with security forces on one part of town, in another portion of the city, twelve persons were being discharged from the Ebola isolation center at the ELWA Holding and Treatment center.
The survivors include medical practitioners from the C.H. Rennie Hospital in Margibi County and the a doctor from the St. Joseph's Catholic Hospital in Monrovia who contracted the virus while catering to infected patients at their respective areas of work. Others patients came from Nimba and Montserrado counties.
