he National Constituent Assembly (NCA) voted Wednesday in favour of the presidential proposal to discharge Tunisia's Central Bank (TCB) Governor Mustapha Kamel Nabli with 110 votes for, 62 against and 10 abstentions.

The decision was approved after two days of stormy debates between members of the ruling troika who were in favour of it and the Opposition and independent parliamentarians who were against.

The troika parliamentarians reproached Mr. Mustapha Kamel Nabli for lack of coordination with the executive power, while the Opposition considers the firing of Nabli as "political bargaining" between the Presidency of the Republic and the Prime Ministry.
