According to Ghana’s most respected radio station, Joy FM, the country’s 2008 general elections is headed for a run-off.  This is contrary to the myriad of electoral polls conducted in Ghana.  In the Parliamentary elections, the opposition NDC is headed for a clear majority. This is Ghana’s most keenly contested elections since the inception of the fourth republic in 1993.
